The President of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia¹ , Mr. Branko Crvenkovski, visited the NATO Headquarters and met with the Secretary General.

They discussed the reform process in the country in the context of the Membership Action Plan. The Secretary General  said the efforts to join NATO are being well noted by Allies and encouraged the country to continue its ambitious reforms programme. 

The Secretary General said NATO is grateful for the former Yugoslav Republic of   Macedonia’s contribution to ISAF and substantial logistical support for NATO’s  KFOR operation.
