On 18 September, the NATO Public Diplomacy Division organised, in the context of the public diplomacy activities for the Mediterranean Dialogue, a visit to NATO Headquarters of senior academics from Morocco, including the deans of the faculties of law and social science from major Moroccan universities.

The visit consisted of briefings by Jean-François Bureau, NATO's Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy, and other NATO officials on the Alliance’s post Cold War reorientation, current political issues, the enhanced Mediterranean Dialogue, current military operations and the Science Programme.
