Deputy Secretary General meets Crown Prince of Bahrain

The Deputy Secretary General H.E. Amb. Alessandro Minuto Rizzo visited Bahrain on 6 September 2007 and met with the Crown Prince of Bahrain, H.H. Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The NATO Deputy Secretary General also met with Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Ghaffar, Minister of Information and Dr. Nizar Sadiq Al Baharnah, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs during bilateral meetings.
The talks focused on the ongoing developments in the implementation by the Kingdom of Bahrain of the practical areas of cooperation with NATO under the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative.
During the visit, the Deputy Secretary General H.E. Amb. Alessandro Minuto Rizzo and H.E. Sheikh Abdulaziz Mubarak Al-Khalifa, Under Secretary of State for Coordination and Follow up initialised the Agreement on the Security of Information between NATO and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The agreement is a facilitator for the exchange of classified information.
