I would like to express my great sorrow at the death of four of our Canadian-ISAF soldiers today. I send my most sincere condolences to the families of the victims.
I would like to express my great sorrow at the death of four of our Canadian-ISAF soldiers today. I send my most sincere condolences to the families of the victims.
What is particularly reprehensible is that these soldiers were in the area to assess how to help the local people rebuild their lives. The suicide bomber detonated his bomb in a crowded area, causing injury to 27 Afghans, including children.
We remain fully committed to achieving our mission in Afghanistan. We will continue to support the Afghan Government and its people and we will not be deterred.
