Conference on Mediterranean Dialogue in Amman, Jordan

On 26 June 2006, the Deputy Secretary General of NATO H.E. Ambassador Alessandro Minuto Rizzo and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jordan H.E. Mr. Abdel Ilah Khatib opened a two-day conference on: ''NATO's Aims and Actions for the Mediterranean Dialogue and the Broader Middle East Region'', co-sponsored by NATO Public Diplomacy Division and Regional Center on Conflict Prevention, Jordan Institute of Diplomacy, in Amman.
Participants in the conference were opinion leaders and policy makers from Jordan and from countries participating in NATO's Mediterranean Dialogue.
