NATO School at the Air Defence School in Algeria

From 13 to 17 May, the NATO School in Oberammergau, Germany, conducted a training mission the Air Defence School in Réghaia, Algeria.
More than 40 officers from the Algerian army, air force, navy and gendarmerie attended the training.
It comprised a broad overview of key NATO subjects given by members of the NATO School faculty, as well as subject matter experts from various NATO commands and agencies.
This is the second time that the NATO School conducted such a training mission as part of NATO’s Mediterranean Dialogue.
Within the Mediterranean Dialogue Work Programme there is an opportunity for the member nations to request mobile Education and Training Teams on-site.
The NATO School plays a key role in the operational education and training of officers, non-commissioned officers and civilians from NATO, Partnership for Peace, Mediterranean Dialogue and Contact countries.
