Members of the Political and External relations Committee of the Tunisian Parliament visited NATO Headquarters on 10 March for briefings and discussions with top officials.

The members of the committee, headed by its President, Mr. Salah Tabarki, visited NATO Headquarters in the context of the public diplomacy aspects of NATO’s Meditteranean Dialogue.

During the visit they met with, among others, the Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Ambassador Alessandro Minuto Rizzo, NATO’s Assistant Secretary Generals for Public Diplomacy, Jean Fournet, Political Affairs and Security Policy, Martin Erdmann, and Defence Policy and Planning, John Colston.

They were briefed on the current agenda of NATO, and on the recent developments in the Mediterranean Dialogue and the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative.
