During the two day visit, the members of the Foreign Affairs andDefence Committee met with NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Schefferand other high-level NATO officials to discuss current developments inthe enhanced Mediterranean Dialogue and the Istanbul CooperationInitiative, launched at the 2004 Istanbul Summit.
