A new NATO depository library has just been opened in Pristina, Kosovo, at the National and University Library.

A new NATO depository library has just been opened in Pristina, Kosovo, at the National and University Library.

Managed by the National and University Library, it will provide thepublic with access to NATO documents and publications, allowing for abetter understanding of the Alliance and its objectives.

This is the sixth NATO depository library to have been opened. The others are in:

  • Bosniaand Herzegovina, at the National and University Library of Bosnia andHerzegovina in Sarajevo and at the National and University Library ofthe Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka;
  • Croatia, at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Zagreb;
  • Serbia and Montenegro, at the Institute of International Politics and Economics in Belgrade; and
  • Slovakia, at the University Library in Bratislava.

Eachone of these libraries has received a complete collection of NATO’spublic documents and will be given priority access to NATO’sinter-library loan system and the documents held within the NATOlibrary.

Publications from NATO’s Science Programme are depositedat the library of the Ecole Polytechnique in Palaiseau, France.
