NATO is in the process of creating a network of depository libraries in NATO and partner countries.

NATO is in the process of creating a network of depository libraries in NATO and partner countries.

So far, two depository libraries have been opened: one in Serbia and Montenegro at the library of the Institute of International Politics and Economics in Belgrade, and one in Slovakia at the University Library in Bratislava.

Each one of these libraries has received a complete collection of NATO's public documents and will be given priority access to NATO's inter-library loan system and the documents held within the NATO library. Cooperation will go further, with exchanges of documents, as well as technical cooperation.

The National Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo is the next library expected to become part of the network.
