The Alliance will maintain a presence in the country to assist in certain areas such as defence reform, or the pursuit of persons indicted for war crimes, the Summit communiqué said.
Heads of State and Government welcomed a decision by the European Union to establish a follow-on mission, which will be supported by NATO under existing NATO-EU agreements.
