During his visit he will meet President Vladimir Putin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov, Secretary of State of the Security Council Igor Ivanov, as well as members of the Duma.

The Secretary General will also sign an exchange of letters with Defence Minister Ivanov, establishing a Russian Military Liaison Office to SHAPE and Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and enhancing the NATO Military Liaison Mission in Moscow.
