A command, control and coordination course on international rescue and relief operations was held in Skövde, Sweden, 3-14 November.

Over 20 participants from 18 different countries - mainly partner countries - took part in lectures, working groups and simulation exercises over these two weeks. They focused on leadership skills, team work, environmental issues, command components, information management, medical intelligence and many other points that are directly relevant to international humanitarian relief or search and rescue operations.

This course was organised by the Swedish Rescue Services Agency within the 2003 Partnership for Peace programme.
