A seminar promoting the implementation of the NATO-Ukraine Target Plan took place in Kyiv on 30 September with the aim of informing the military and involving the Force ministries in the country s integration process.
This was the first in a series of events to be organised by the Atlantic Council of Ukraine, with sponsorship from NATO. This particular seminar entitled Means for solving vital problems in terms of implementing the NATO-Ukraine Annual Target Plan brought together representatives from the Ukrainian government, from the military, non-governmental organisations and from institutes. It focused on issues such as the strategic objectives of the integration of Ukraine into NATO, Ukraine s image, and the democratic control of Ukrainian armed forces and security structures.
