A seminar for Ukrainian journalists on “Ukraine and NATO after the Prague Summit: New Dimensions for Partnership” took place on April 22-23 in the eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk.

The event was organized by the Democracy and Development Center and was co-sponsored by the NATO Information and Documentation Center in Kyiv. Donetsk was specifically chosen to hold the event because the level of public support for Euro-Atlantic integration remains relatively low in the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine.

With the participation of Ukrainian and NATO-country experts, the event provided the journalists with the opportunity to become better acquainted with the content of the NATO-Ukraine Action Plan; thus assisting them in subsequently reporting on Ukraine’s implementation process of the plan.
