The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will be travelling to Slovenia and Slovakia on 10 March 2003. This trip is part of a round of visits to all seven countries invited to join NATO.
During his visit to Ljubljana, Lord Robertson will meet with the President of Slovenia, Mr. Janez Drnovšek, with the Prime Minister, Mr. Anton Rop, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Dimitrij Rupel, with the Defence Minister, Mr. Anton Grizold and with other members of the government. He will also meet the President of the National Assembly (Parliament), Mr. Borut Pahor and address the National Assembly.
During his visit to Bratislava, the Secretary General will meet with the President of Slovakia, Mr. Rudolf Schuster, with the Prime Minister, Mr. Mikulás Dzurinda, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Eduard Kukan, with the Defence Minister, Mr. Ivan Simko and with Mr. P. Hrušovský, the President of the National Council (Parliament). He will also address a Conference hosted by the Slovak Foreign Policy Association.
