The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will be travelling to Lithuania and Latvia on 27-28 February. This trip is part of a round of visits to all seven countries invited to join NATO.

During his visit to Vilnius on Thursday, 27 February, Lord Robertson will meet with the President of Lithuania, Mr. Rolandas Paksas, with the Prime Minister, Mr. Algirdas Brazauskas and with the Chairman and other members of the Seimas (Parliament).

During his visit to Riga, on Friday, 28 February, the Secretary General will meet with the President of Latvia, Mrs. Vaira Vike-Freiberga, with the Prime Minister, Mr. Einars Repse and with the Foreign and Defence Ministers. He will also meet the Chairman and other members of the Saeiema (Parliament).
