KFOR has detained three individuals in Kosovo believed to be the persons named in war crimes indictments issued by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. These individuals have been transferred to secure locations. There were no casualties as a result of these operations.
Formal identification and arrest is awaited and further information on this operation will follow as soon as available.
These detentions were undertaken in accordance with KFOR’s mandate and in consultation with UNMIK. KFOR will continue to do its part by carrying out its mission in a firm and even-handed manner.
