The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will attend the Conference on Security Policy in Munich, Germany on Saturday 8 February and Sunday 9 February.
During his stay in Munich, he will meet with a number of officials, including German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, German Minister of Defence Peter Struck, Russian Defence Minister Ivanov and a group of United States Senators and Congressmen.
On Saturday 8 February the Secretary General will deliver a keynote speech on “NATO’s Future Role – New Transatlantic Consensus”. After their meeting on Saturday 8 February he and Russian Minister of Defence Sergei Ivanov will sign, at 18:30, the NATO-Russian Federation Framework Document on Submarine Crew Escape and Rescue. A short joint point de presse will follow the signature.
