The NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson, will host the international conference "Prague 2002: Challenge and Change for NATO " on Thursday, 3 October 2002. The conference will be organised by the Transatlantic Centre of the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
Other participants at the conference will include the Defence Minister of Norway, Ms. Kristin Krohn Devold, the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, General Joseph Ralston, the Secretary General of the Council of the European Union, Dr. Javier Solana, the former Minister of Defence of France, Mr. Alain Richard, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Mr. Bronislaw Geremek and US Deputy National Security Advisor, Mr. Stephen Hadley.

Journalists wishing to cover the press conference will be allowed into the Résidence Palace on presentation of a NATO accreditation pass or a valid press pass.
The entire conference "Prague 2002: Challenge and Change for NATO ", will be broadcast throughout the whole day on closed-circuit television into the Luns Press Theatre at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
Journalists wishing to follow the conference on closed-circuit television will be allowed into NATO Headquarters on presentation of a NATO accreditation pass or a valid press pass.
