His Royal Highness The Prince of Asturias of Spain will visit NATO on Monday, 16 September and Wednesday, 18 September 2002 where he will meet with NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson of Port Ellen and participate in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council. During the visit, he will also meet with the Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador A. Minuto Rizzo, the President of the Military Committee, General H. Kujat and the Director of the International Military Staff, Admiral P. Haddacks. This visit takes place within the framework of a two-week programme which also includes visits to the Spanish Delegation and Military Representation to NATO, several facilities such as SHAPE, NAEW, AFSOUTH, SFOR and KFOR, as well as other defence and security institutions within the European Union and military headquarters such as EUROFOR and EUROCORPS.
