The role of NATO and other international organisations in managing conflicts is one of the themes under discussion at the summer school on "Russia - NATO - OSCE - EU: Interaction in Managing Post-conflict Situations" in Gelenjik, Russian Federation from 5 to 15 September.

Sessions focus on the socio-economic and political aspects of post-conflict management, humanitarian aspects of conflict management and the role of the media in post-conflict management. About 40 young post-graduate students, teachers, researchers and journalists from Russia and the Caucasus are taking part.

The project was organised by Kuban State University and is co-sponsored by the NATO Information Office in Moscow.
