Exercise NATO Air Meet 2002 (NAM 02) is currently being conducted over Norway, involving air forces from Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The aim of the exercise is to give participants the opportunity to train in joint tactical air operations, with emphasis on the suppression of enemy air defences and electronic warfare. This year, the exercise is again hosted by Norway, with more than 65 aircraft operating from Ørland Main Air Station, north-west of Trondheim. NAM 02, which started on 31 August and will last until 13 September, is being conducted by Headquarters Allied Air Forces North, Ramstein, Germany.
