A funeral service was held for Dr Joseph Luns, former NATO Secretary General (1971-1984), who passed away on 17 July. The service was held on 23 July at the "Abbaye de la Cambre", in Brussels. His body has now been taken to the Netherlands for burial.
Among those attending the service were NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson, the Foreign Minister of the Netherlands, Mr de Hoop Scheffer, past Netherlands foreign ministers, NATO Ambassadors and staff.
