Following his visit to the Slovakian capital Bratislava last week, Lord Robertson travelled to Slovenia on 12 November as part of his tour of countries aspiring to NATO membership. In Ljubljana, he met with President Milan Kucan, Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek, Minister of Defence Anton Grizold, as well as with the Speaker and members of Parliament.
Invitations for NATO membership will be announced in Prague at the upcoming Summit of the Alliance in November 2002.
