The President of Moldova, H.E. Mr. Vladimir Voronin, will visit NATO Headquarters on Thursday 28 June 2001. He will meet with NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson. The President will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nicolae Cernomaz. Mr. Cernomaz will be signing a Memorandum of Understanding with NATO, in order to open the way to implement NATO's Partnerrship for Peace Trust Fund for the safe destruction of anti-personnel land mines and munitions including liquid propellant oxidizer in Moldova.

Arrival of the President of Moldova, H.E. Mr. Vladimir Vorodin, at NATO Headquarters - Open coverage

The President and the Secretary General will immediately witness the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding, in the conference room of the Secretary general - The Memorandum will be signed by Mr. Nicolae Cernomaz, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Peter Markay, the Director of NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA)

The President will then meet with the Secretary General
