A U.S. team, led by Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Marc Grossman and Deputy National Security Adviser Steve Hadley, will be at NATO tomorrow consulting with the allies on missile defense. President George Bush presented his missile defense proposal in a speech last week, and promised such consultations.

Under Secretary Grossman will make a brief statement upon arrival at NATO tomorrow morning around 8:30. At the conclusion of the North Atlantic Council meeting, expected to end around 12:30, he will make another statement and answer a few questions.
