The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will visit the United States on 5th-9th March 2001. He will be in Washington on Wednesday 7th March, Thursday 8th March and Friday 9th March where he will meet with President George W. Bush, Secretary of State Colin Powell, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and other senior administration officials, as well as leading Senators and Congressmen.

He will speak at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University on 6 March, and at a symposium organised on Capitol Hill by the American Enterprise Institute on 7 March.

Lord Robertson will address the Defense Writers Group at a breakfast meeting on Friday 9th March.

On Tuesday 6th of March he will be in New York where he will meet with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan.
