NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson has strongly condemned the bombing, on 16 February, of a KFOR escorted convoy carrying Serb civilians. A command detonated bomb exploded under the first bus, killing seven people and wounding many others. Lord Robertson stated that NATO did not conduct its air campaign in order to see ethnic cleansing by one group replaced by the ethnic attacks and intimidation of another. He expects community leaders within Kosovo to join him in condemning this act and added that KFOR remains committed to doing everything it can to ensure the security of all ethnic groups within Kosovo.
