The President of the Republic of Italy, Mr. Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, will visit NATO Headquarters on Friday, 5 May 2000. During his visit, Mr. Ciampi will have meetings with the Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson of Port Ellen and the North Atlantic Council and will be briefed on the Situation in the Balkans by the Chairman of the Military Committee, Adm. Guido Venturoni.
