The five-nation European military force -Eurocorps- took over the command of KFOR on 18 April. It replaced LANDCENT forces in this rotational function at KFOR headquarters and will now command all KFOR troops for the next six months.
The commander of Eurocorps, Lieutenant-General Juan Ortuo, and his staff are under the command of NATO's Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) General Clark.
