NATO Secretary General, Lord Robertson, travelled to Kosovo on 24 March on the occasion of the first anniversary of NATO's air campaign against Milosevic's war machine. He met with the Commander of KFOR, General Reinhardt, the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to Kosovo, Dr Kouchner, and with three Kosovar Albanian members of the Interim Administrative Council: the leader of the Party for Democratic Progress of Kosovo, Thaci, the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Rugova, and the leader of the United Democratic Movement, Qosha.
He then visited the school of Poklek which has been rebuilt by KFOR forces after having been destroyed by the Serbs.
