During a visit to London on 22-23 March, Lord Robertson met with Secretary of State for Defence Geoffrey Hoon to discuss current issues such as Kosovo and the European Security and Defence Identity. He gave a speech at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), which has recently moved premises, and at the Knigswinter Conference in Oxford, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. The Knigswinter Conference is an Anglo-German event held on a regular basis around current issues.
