Estonian Prime Minister, Mr Mart Laar, came to NATO HQ on 22 March to meet with Lord Robertson. They discussed Estonia's involvement in NATO's Membership Action Plan (MAP).

Estonia is one of nine partner countries involved in the MAP which provides concrete advice for aspiring members in their preparations for possible future membership. The eight other partners are : Albania, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. 1
