Strategic Reserve Forces have been deployed in Kosovo to conduct a NATO exercise from 19 March to 10 April. Exercise Dynamic Response 2000 has been subdivided into different phases : rapid deployment, interoperability and high operational readiness.
It has been organised to reiterate NATO's determination in maintaining peace in the Balkans and to demonstrate the Alliance's capacity to reinforce the NATO-led peacekeeping force, KFOR, if required.
