After NATO Secretary General Lord Robertson's visit to Ukraine last week, General Clark, the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe (SACEUR) has just spent two days in Kyiv (8-10 February). He met Defence Minister, Olexander Kuzmuk, and other high-level officials in an effort to further develop relations between NATO countries and Ukraine. He congratulated Ukrainian soldiers on their contribution to the NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo (KFOR) and underlined the importance of Ukraine for the Alliance.
