The Secretary General of NATO, Lord Robertson, will visit the Federal Republic of Germany on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 November 1999.

During his visit, the Secretary General will meet with the President of the Federal Republic, Dr. Johannes Rau, Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, Mr. Joschka Fischer, Vice Chancellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Rudolf Scharping, Minister of Defence.

During his stay in Berlin, Lord Robertson will also take part in a public debate organized by the BBC to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
