The NATO Secretary General, Dr. Javier Solana, will visit Germany on Monday, 1 February 1999. During his visit, he will meet in Bonn with the Chancellor, Mr. Gerhard Schröder, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Joschka Fischer and the Minister of Defence, Mr. Rudolf Scharping. In the afternoon, the Secretary General will meet in Berlin with the Governing Mayor, Mr. Eberhard Diepgen, and deliver the Wallenberg lecture at the invitation of the Aspen Institute, Berlin (Grand Hotel Esplanade).
