The Secretary General, Dr. Javier Solana, will visit Sarajevo on Friday, 23 October 1998. The Secretary General will be accompanied by General Wesley Clark, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR). He will attend, along with members of the North Atlantic Council, the ceremony for the COMSFOR change of command from General Eric Shinseki to General Montgomery C. Meigs. The Secretary General will also meet members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
