Carlos Westendorp, the High Representative responsible for coordinating the civilian organisations and agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, visits NATO for discussions with the Secretary General and to address the North Atlantic Council. At a meeting of the NATO-Russia Permanent Joint Council, Ambassadors discuss the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in Kosovo. NATO and Russia support the aims of securing a political solution to the crisis in Kosovo based on strict compliance with UNSCR 1160 and 1199.
