La Conference des directeurs nationaux des armements (CDNA) de l'OTAN tiendra sa premiere reunion avec les pays du partenariat, le 6 novembre prochain au siege de l'Alliance a Bruxelles.

NATO's Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD)
will hold its first meeting with PfP Partners on Monday,
6 November at NATO Headquarters in Brussels. This
meeting of Defence Procurement Chiefs from NATO and
Partner nations represents an important deepening of
contacts in the armaments field within the Partnership
for Peace (PfP).

Armaments Directors from 14 Partner nations will join
their NATO counterparts to review implementation of
cooperation within PfP in the armaments field in 1995,
and to identify priorities for future cooperation.

The meeting of Armaments Directors caps an active year of
PfP cooperation in this area which included over two
dozen CNAD-sponsored workshops, seminars or expert
meetings on specific issues of defence procurement
practice and technical and materiel interoperability.

For more information on this meeting, please contact
Director Policy and Coordination, Defence Support
Division: Mr. Guillermo Leira, tel: int'l+32-2-728 44 60.
