Status of economic reforms in Cooperation Partner countries in the mid-1990s: opportunities, constraints, security implications

The 1995 Economics Colloquium, to be opened at 11.00 hours on 28th June with a Welcoming Address by the Secretary General, will aim at an assessment of economic reforms in Cooperation Partner countries after roughly a half-decade experience. Cooperation Partner countries' speakers will present about half of the conference papers. The Keynote Speech following the Chairman's remarks will be presented by Mr. Victor Petrov, Minister of Engineering, Military-Industrial Complex and Conversion of Ukraine. On the second day Dr. Murray Feshbach, Department of Demography, Georgetown University in Washington D.C., will present a special lecture on "The impact of ecological threats to economic reforms and the impact of economic reforms on ecological issues".

The main presentations will be delivered by five panels, with 4-5 members each, as follows:
