INFORMATION

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign
Affairs of Malta, Professor Guido de Marco, will come to
NATO Headquarters on 26 April 1995 to sign the
Partnership for Peace Framework Document.
He will meet the Secretary General and the Permanent
Representatives to the North Atlantic Council. The
visit will begin at 9:20. Professor de Marco's
departure is expected at 10:30.

PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT

9:20 - NATO main entrance. Arrival of Professor de
Marco.
Open coverage on a first-come, first-served
basis.

9:25 - Bilateral meeting with the Secretary General
in the Private Office. In view of the limited
space available, only a restricted pool will
be authorized to cover the beginning of the
meeting.

10:00 - Room 1: North Atlantic Council Session.
Introductory
remarks by the Secretary General, followed by
Professor de Marco's reply. Signing of
Partnership for Peace Framework Document by
the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign Affairs of Malta. Coverage within the
conference room by a restricted pool.

10:20 - NATO main entrance. Meeting with the press.
Departure of the Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta at about
10:30.

ACCREDITATION

Journalists wishing to cover the visit of the Deputy
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malta
will be allowed into the NATO premises on presentation
of a NATO accreditation pass or a valid press pass.

INFORMATION

Le Vice-premier ministre et Ministre des Affaires
etrangeres de Malte, M. Guido de Marco, viendra au siege
de l'OTAN le 26 avril 1995 signer le Document cadre du
Partenariat pour la paix. Il rencontrera le Secretaire
general et les Representants permanents aupres du
Conseil de l'Atlantique Nord. La visite commencera a
9h20. Le depart de M. de Marco est prevu pour 10h30.

sera autorise a couvrir le debut de la
rencontre.

10 heures - Salle 1 : Reunion du Conseil de
l'Atlantique Nord.
Allocution du Secretaire general, suivie
du discours de M. de Marco. Signature du
Document cadre du Partenariat pour la
paix par le Vice-premier ministre et
Ministre des Affaires etrangeres de
Malte. Couverture dans la salle
limitee a un groupe restreint.

10h20 - Entree principale de l'OTAN. Rencontre
avec les representants des medias. Depart
du Vice-premier ministre et Ministre des
Affaires etrangeres de Malte vers 10h30.
