INFORMATION

The Albanian Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Arjan
Starova, and Vice-Minister of Defence, Mr. Alfred Moisieu,
will visit NATO Headquarters on Wednesday, 25 January.
They will attend a meeting of the North Atlantic
Council at which they will declare acceptance of the
Albanian Individual Partnership Programme which has been
jointly developed by Albania and NATO and approved by the
North Atlantic Council. The visit will begin at 9:50.
The Ministers' departure is expected at 10:40.

PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT

9:45 - NATO main entrance. Arrival of Messrs. Starova
and Moisieu. Open coverage on a first-come,
first-served basis.

9:50 - Bilateral meeting with Secretary General in the
Private Office. In view of the limited space
available, only a restricted pool will
be authorized to cover the beginning of the
meeting.

10:15 - Room 1: North Atlantic Council Session.
Introductory remarks by the Secretary General,
followed by replies by Messrs. Starova
and Moisieu. Presentation of Albanian
Individual Partnership Programme. Coverage
within the conference room by a restricted pool.

10:30 - NATO main entrance. Meeting with the press.
Departure of the Albanian Ministers at about
10:40.

ACCREDITATION

Journalists wishing to cover the visit of the Albanian
Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice-Minister of
Defence will be allowed into the NATO premises
on presentation of a NATO accreditation pass or a valid
press pass.
