INFORMATION
The Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Mr. Saidkasimov, and
the Defence Minister, Mr. Ahmedov, will come to NATO
Headquarters on 13th July 1994 to sign the Partnership
for Peace Framework Document. They will meet the Deputy
Secretary General and members of the North Atlantic
Council. The visit will begin at 09.10. The Ministers'
departure is expected at 10.15.

PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT
09.10 - NATO main entrance. Arrival of Messrs.
Saidkasimov and Ahmedov.
Open coverage on a first-come, first-served basis.
09.15 - Bilateral meeting with the Deputy Secretary
General in the Private Office.
In view of the limited space available, only a
restricted pool will be authorized to cover the
beginning of the meeting.
09.45 - Room 1: North Atlantic Council Session.
Introductory remarks by the Deputy Secretary General,
followed by Mr. Saidkasimov's reply. Signing of
Partnership for Peace Framework Document.
Coverage within the conference room by a restricted
pool.
10.05 - NATO main entrance. Meeting between Messrs.
Saidkasimov and Ahmedov and the press.
Departure of the Ministers at about 10.15.
ACCREDITATION
Journalists wishing to cover the visit of the Uzbekistan
Foreign Minister and Defence Minister will be allowed
into the NATO premises on presentation of a NATO
accreditation pass or a valid press pass. Photographers
and cameramen wishing to be part of the Restricted
Pool should contact Mr. G. De Brouwer.
PARKING
Correspondents are advised that they will not be able to
bring vehicles into the NATO compound but that a shuttle
bus service will be provided between the car-park
outside the NATO main gate and the NATO Press Service
entrance.
