The Special Representative of the Secretary General of
the United Nations Protection Force for the Former
Yugoslavia, Mr. Yasushi Akashi, accompanied by Gen.
Bertrand de Lapresle, Commander UNPROFOR Former
Yugoslavia and Lt.Gen. Sir Michael Rose, Commander
UNPROFOR Bosnia-Herzegovina, will come to NATO
Headquarters on 29 June 1994 to meet with the Deputy
Secretary General. Later, Mr. Akashi will have an
informal meeting with the Permanent Representatives to
the North Atlantic Council. The visit will begin at
13:10 and their departure is expected at + 17:30-18:30.

In view of the limited space available, only a
restricted pool will be authorized to cover the
beginning of the meeting.
