Within the framework of the 1994 Work Plan for Dialogue, Partnership and Cooperation to which the member countries of the North Atlantic Cooperation Council have agreed, a Seminar hosted by the Hungarian authorities will be held in Budapest from 27 to 29 April on the following topic: Planning and Management of National Defence Programmes.

Experts from countries of the Alliance and from Cooperation Partner countries will discuss in particular the position of defence budgets in the national economy, defence conversion and defence budget control procedures.

On the last day, Friday 29 April 1994, a press conference will take place at approximately 12:30 hours, in Hotel AGRO, XII, Normafa #t 54, Budapest (Tel. 175.40.11). The Seminar itself will not be open to the media.
