INFORMATION

The Minister of National Defence of the Republic of
Poland, Mr. Piotr Kolodziejczyk, will visit NATO
Headquarters and SHAPE on Monday, 25 April. The purpose
of the visit is to submit formally to NATO the Polish
Partnership for Peace Presentation Document. The
Minister of National Defence will visit NATO Headquarters
in the morning, where he will meet the Secretary General.
The visit will begin at 11:30 and Mr. Kolodziejczyk's
departure is expected at about 12:15.

In the afternoon, the Polish Minister of National Defence
will visit SHAPE, where he will be received by the
Supreme Allied Commander Europe
(SACEUR).

PROGRAMME OF THE VISIT

11:30 - NATO main entrance. Arrival of Mr.
Kolodziejczyk. Open coverage on a first-come,
first-served basis.

11:35 - Bilateral meeting with Secretary General.
In view of the limited space available, only a
restricted pool will be authorized to cover the
beginning of the meeting.

12:00 - NATO main entrance. Meeting with the press.
Departure of the Minister of National Defence
of Poland at about 12:15.

ACCREDITATION

Journalists wishing to cover the visit of the Minister of
National Defence of Poland will be allowed into the NATO
premises on presentation of a NATO accreditation pass or
a valid press pass. Photographers and cameramen wishing
to be part of the Restricted Pool should contact Mr. G.
De Brouwer.

PARKING

Correspondents are advised that they will not be able to
bring vehicles into the NATO compound but that a shuttle
bus service will be provided between the car-park outside
the NATO main gate and the NATO Press Service entrance.
