The Secretary General of NATO, Mr. Manfred Worner, will visit the
United States during the first week of October 1993. During the visit,
he will meet with the President and members of his administration and
also with leading congressmen. He will then travel to New York for a
meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations.
On Wednesday, October 6, Mr. Worner will address the National Press
Club in Washington DC on "A new NATO in a new Era".
On Thursday, 7 October, Mr. Worner will address the Foreign Policy
Association in New York.
