INFORMATION

The President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, Mr. Saparmurad Niyazov,
will pay an official visit to NATO Headquarters on 29 September 1993.
He will meet the Secretary General, Mr. Manfred Worner, and address the
North Atlantic Council. The visit will begin at 10:40. Mr. Niyazov's
departure is expected at 14:45.

ACCREDITATION

(a) Journalists holding NATO permanent press cards need not apply for
accredi- tation.

(b) Media representatives not in possession of a NATO permanent press
card will be admitted to the press zone on presentation of numbered
individual NATO temporary press passes delivered at NATO's main gate
from 09:00 onwards on 29 September on presentation of a valid press
card and photographic proof of identity.

PARKING

Correspondents are advised that they will not be able to bring vehicles
into the NATO compound but that a shuttle bus service will be provided
between the car- park outside the NATO main gate and the NATO Press
Service entrance.
